Author and keynote speaker LaMar Boschman discusses with Batsirai Chada the strategies of Lucifer. What schemes does Satan have for humanity and how is he using music to achieve his strategies?
These topics are in a transformational online course called The Music of God that will help you know how to use music to experience God's presence and power resulting in miracles.

Hey, welcome to the LaMar Boschman podcast. And this series called the music of God and we're exploring the music of heaven. And this is based on a course called the music of God available www.lamarboschman .com , where all the scriptures and references are. But in today's episode, we're going to discover Lucifer's agenda. That master musician has plans for you. Hey everybody, my name's LaMar Boschman . I'm so excited about this topic, the music of God, Dum Dum bum music and God's kingdom. We're exploring what it's like and the dynamics. We started music in heaven and how it was with this perfect angel and all the celestials up there that sing, and God created music. It started with him. But then all of a sudden, when Lucifer fell music went secular, and now we have this dynamic in the earth where there's other source of music other than God. And so we're going to look at today, the schemes I call the schema, the schemes and the strategies of this master musician. Who's now corrupted and fallen to the earth to move and work his wizardry on these special darlings that God created to be worshipers of Him. And maybe someday take Lucifer's place. We'll see about it , but I want to welcome Batsirai from Oshawa , Ontario. Welcome my friend.Batsairi Chada:
Thank you very much. Good to be here. Good, good.LaMar Boschman:
And , uh , I know it's a lot of snow up in Canada, but , uh , you look forward to those months when you get a lot of sunshine and leaves come out. It's great.Batsairi Chada:
We're actually really good now. It's nice. And it's getting warmer outside. It's birds singing.LaMar Boschman:
That's good. Well , there's music. That's right, but I'm Canadian as well. And so I'm not giving you a hard time. I am enjoying the Canadian culture, et cetera . This angel music angel Lucifer wanted to be the highest among all God's creatures equal to God and glory and honor. And he was demoted and he is strategizing how to destroy his rivals and recruit more worshipers of him. That's right . I remember when we talked about, sorry, I bumped my camera here, but remember, we're talking about how that corruption and pride and ego turned to something that began to be his motive and something out of him where he wanted his identity and something else. And then he realized that he wants to be worshiped. He also wants influence. He wants to be a recipient rather than God. So that whole transition was slow and powerful. And then Ephesians 6:11. So it's put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. And that word means to seek trickery or the way he uses his methods and plans his strategies and schemes against mankind. And that includes you, that are listening. He has plans for you and is behind the scenes always manipulating to destroy because we're under the curse. We have sin working in our hearts and our lives. And even though Jesus has given us new life, that sin nature still there, just look at your kids. You don't have to teach them to be bad. It just happens. Right? So it just evolved because that's working in us. And then the Prince Power of the Air is working. And the course, the curse that's on the earth and all this creates darkness creates disease, creates problems for us. And we as humans, if we don't find our place in God and apply the word of God and the music of God, we become victims to this whole thing. What are your thoughts? Batsairi.Batsairi Chada:
There's a lot there. Number one, Jesus gave us the freedom to live as God always intended. It's not an automatic, like you said, you know, you look at your kids and you can see that they're still there. There's a ways to go there. Adam chose to bite the apple. Yes, yes. Under the influence. And he was deceived and that astray, there's a certain accountability that mankind has . And then the enemy Satan, what he's doing is keeping us in that trap of darkness. And that darkness is again, we forgot who we are, you know, and Jesus comes to , uh, not just remind us of who we are, but to give us the freedom, to become that, which we always were-- children of God. He gives us that freedom to , because of who I am and what I've done by God becoming man, we now become the children of God, you know, but we need to grow in our identity and our understanding of that. I just wanted to backtrack to something you just said there, where he was once the giver of worship and now he wants to be the recipient. That in and of itself captures the whole dynamic of identity and stuff like. He was always giving everything in him, all his pipes, his music was giving worship, giving adoration and worth to the one who sits on the throne. And then all of a sudden it becomes , so I want to receive, I'm not expecting God to worship me at well at least I'm not there yet mentally, but maybe some of these other angels, maybe these guys can look up to me. Maybe these guys should know that I'm better than them and being just as good as God. I'm perfect . And Satan does that now. He keeps us in that false identity that we have that in the eyes of men. I need to look good in the eyes of man . I need to look good too.LaMar Boschman:
And we see that among musicians, possibly, if we give our hearts over to this, I mean, it's the ultimate result of pride haughtiness and arrogance and thinking we're better than, and that's something important to point out here. When we start comparing ourselves with others, Oh, well, I am better in this area. And that is a dangerous, slippery slope because that's the lobbying and how the corruption in Lucifer's mind began to evolve. It's another dynamic there, but this whole idea of him wanting to be worshiped. See it went from simple thoughts. Yeah. I am truthful thoughts. I am perfect. And beauty I'm I'm perfect musician. And then it starts to get arrogant. It gets, then he starts lobbying and all of this metamorphosis. And then he ends up wanting to be the recipient of worship. And so he becomes an idol before God. He knew what God thinks about a idolatry... O my. That is sometimes in our nature. And so I'm intrigued by the scripture in Matthew, where Satan went to Jesus after 40 days, no water, no food. He's weak and vulnerable. He waits for his right opportunity. And he goes up to Jesus and say, Hey, Hey, if you just fall down right here, right now, kiss my ring, kiss my feet, worship me. You can have all these kingdoms and their glory. And he exposed his motive and his agenda there. What are your thoughts on that? Yeah.Batsairi Chada:
He also thought Jesus was his contemporary. So he's trying to tempt Jesus with something that he was tempted with. Right? So he's going to Jesus saying, I know what you want. You want all these kingdoms and you want the earth and you want, God wants all this back. Okay. If you want to back worship. Find your identity somewhere else, just trade on that. It's like a , was it Isaac and Esau? Like give up your birthright and you can get what you want. Jesus knows. He's like, yes. For this reason, I have come to reclaim the earth. I have come to reclaim all these kingdoms. Yes, that is true. I will give my life for this. However, even before I give my life for this, my identity is as the begotten son of God. Y es. And I will not bow in worship cannot. I t will not. And so he knows exactly who he is because He knows who He is. That even though He really, really wants these kingdoms, He will not betray His identity or forget His identity to get those things.LaMar Boschman:
That's good. And then He said away from me, Satan for it is written. And so what does He do? He stands his ground against the enemy. And that's what we should do. And He says away from me, Satan and the quotes, the scriptures that you must love the Lord, your God and Him only, shall you serve. So I love this aspect about it, the.Batsairi Chada:
right there , like, you know, the scripture uses that you must love the Lord, your God of all your heart. Like that is the answer. That's what , that's, what Lucifer didn't do. Like in that moment where maybe that very first thought like , Oh, I am perfect. I am love the Lord. Give the Lord is the object . He is the one who deserves all the praise. And so that... Jesus is showing us the, the ammunition we have also. Then when these thoughts might come to us, that our defense is that I will always look up to him.LaMar Boschman:
That's good. Then so Satan left and Jesus continued in his ministry and angels ministered to him, probably brought them food and water and a Whataburger or something, or a White Spot burger from Vancouver. And He was refreshed and better. Then Satan continues. He's relentless. And he says, I'm going to go after your followers. Cause remember behind idols, the Bible says over and over there are demons, you know, why, why do you give your food to idols or eat the food of idols when you're eating the food of demons? So there's spirits behind idols. So I want to bring that into Satan and expose Satan at work in our culture, like who , who are the idols that we have? Who do we idolize? Who are we fans of? Who do we give our time, our energy, our money to and we'd love to be like. And who do we follow? Who do we , uh , elevate above others in our life? Remember we said, don't compare ourselves among ourselves. So those are idols. And so we have sports idols. We have music idols. We have rockstar idols. You know, the whole aspect of star. Lucifer was the morning star. So there's this whole thing. And behind that is Satan at work. Now we're talking about unsaved people and I can tell you story after story of musicians who, and you've tasted of it, who have this spirit, the essence of who they are. Well, there's so much I could say on this. I wrote a book about Lucifer and music and we talked about a whole chapter on how , uh , enemies at work and music in the earth. But how a fourth member manifested in three member, a band as they sang their music. Spirit's are involved in the music-making and spirits a re behind idols and like a puppet master he's pulling strings, cause he doesn't want to be obvious. He wants to be hidden in the background. So no one says t here's the devil. Yeah. So this is a huge subject, but it's a reality that we don't address much in our pop culture right now.Batsairi Chada:
No, that's true. I think while he's hidden to us, he's also doing it as a sort of an insult to God. It's like , look what I am doing to the people that you love. Wow. Look , look what I'm doing to how I'm distracting them. I'm keeping them here in this. I think of like some sort of meth house or something like that, where somebody has got all these people in there and keeping them addicted and keeping them locked up. So to say, whether they're locked up by their addiction and they , they worship the dealer. So to say, and then say , Oh, this dealer, this is where I get my life. And it's the only one I can depend on. And , and I need him and, and they're just, it's such an insight . And if you're a parent of a child who's in there, there's just this grieving. It's like, Oh man, I'm just torn. Like I need to go rescue and I think but this child doesn't even want to come out to freedom, to life, to light . They want to stay in there and be wrapped up in. And that's what, it's almost like, that's the enemy's plan. Not so much like, Hey, worship me like a Satanist or something like that. But I want you no matter what you worship, no matter how much I control you, I want you, I want to keep you in bondage, away from the freedom that's in Christ.LaMar Boschman:
Yeah. There's so many stories of musicians like, and I don't want to name names, but from Seattle area, this a musician who says I get inspired by my muse. And I worship Satan through my music. And I love when he comes and he visits me and gives me inspiration. Well, he killed himself because for two years, the muse never came. The spirit did not come to him. And he was so grieved. They couldn't write music anymore. So he killed himself. And that spirit was in his music the whole time. It's and he said it, this is his words. And so you see how blatant, in some cases, Satan can be and using music and our pop culture music that's lustful let's see , is that, is that a fruit of the Spirit? The Bible says whatsoever, things are lovely, whatsoever. Think , sing those songs, play those songs on your playlist or Spotify, but we don't. We just give into the pop culture whatever's popular. And we value that over these other things. And so we are honoring that. We are worshiping that. We're exalting that we're giving a place time and we're putting a forefront. We're feeding our spirit with it. And all the while saying they have no idea.Batsairi Chada:
You remember those stories of people saying, Oh, they sold their soul to the devil so that they could become popular . You can argue that's what Lucifer was trying to do. Like you sold him , sold his soul, his birthright to himself. So in an attempt to become popular, but also we always leave. It's like, Oh, well these big mega stars, they must have done it. That's how they got that popular. But it happens on a, at the lowest level too. Like, I will do anything to get the adoration and the affirmation of men. Right? And if that means giving my giving into certain things, ahh it's not so bad, or we begin to do that all in the attempt to become what we actually already are just in another way. We are loved and adored by the One who matters most. But we're seeking that love and adoration out of people who don't matter as much.LaMar Boschman:
Elevate them above God sometimes. And maybe not in the core part of our heart, because we love God. We want to serve. I'm talking about us as Christians. We're vulnerable like Kari Jobe, for example, I had a , somewhat of an influence in her. She sang on our worship team at the International Worship Institution, went to Christ for the Nations, et cetera, et cetera. She has this DNA of worship. Later on my wife and I were able to , to be with her at a conference as we went backstage. So to speak, to see her and her new baby and her new husband. And I found myself acting ridiculous. Like how do I , what should I say? See that tells us I was comparing myself and others with her and she's elite she's special. And so I was idolizing her. I made her an idol , put her up above the value of other people. Where in God's eyes, it's all level. And even in Christian worship, we honor worship artists over other people because of their gifts, their talent. And we raise them up in our value and esteem. That I think is Luciferian .Batsairi Chada:
Yeah. And I don't even know if it necessarily if its just their talents or gifting because honestly, like in today's culture, how many people are....Phil Keaggy is one of the best guitars on the planet. Guitars players say that. Abraham Laboriel is one of the best bass players--talent-wise, gifting wise. We don't have a lot of people clamoring. I want to be like him. They would rather have 10 million followers on their social media than to have that person's gift. And usually when we're looking, when we're aspiring for somebody who's gifting, it's because we want to get that influence. We want to get those followers. So to say, and we see talent as a means to get it. Here's how I can get adored by other people. I need more talent . Do I need to be as talented as that person? So with you and Kari Jobe is like, she's a great singer.... And she's an amazing writer, amazing worship leader. You are a influence on her. And yet you were thinking because of the numbers, people gathered in that very , uh, that very room or that stadium to , to hear from her. Yeah . And it's thousands upon thousands upon thousands who were there listening to her music and stuff. And that gave her worth in our eyes. And that I think is the big issue. Because somebody has worshiped or adored in the eyes of others gives them value because they have 10 million followers that gives them value over the guy. Because man, that person's really amazing singer guitar player, but t hey got like two followers. Oh, they m ustn't be that big or whatever.LaMar Boschman:
Yeah, exactly. And that's what Lucifer did member who was lobbying. He says, I don't have followers. So he started moving among the angels, started finding followers. So that gave him more importance. Like you said, cause his identity was in the wrong place. Cause he didn't have those followers before. He was just a humble servant playing the organ right next to the pastor worshiping God. And then all of a sudden this all changed. And so that's why he got this following of one third of the angels and now they're demons now their fallen angels. And so Satan has this huge agenda. That's diabolical to corrupt the human species, so to speak. And he's at work and at play. And even in our Christian hearts, we give in to this , we have to be very, very, very careful. Well, this has been great. This subject is huge. I mean, we could go for a long time talking about this, but we don't want to glorify Satan too much. We want to give him too much place, but we need to be wise and we need to discern. And the Bible says, we need to put on the whole armor of God that we may stand against the wiles and the strategies of the devil. But you know what, and our next sessions that are coming up, we're going to talk about how God is at work and music to actually defeat the works of Satan and defeat Satan himself. So music is with not only Lucifer. Music's with God and with God's people and it's center point for a lot of the encounters and the touch point of us touching God in a powerful way. So we're going to talk more about that in our next session. Well thank you Batsairi. I can't wait. I appreciate you. And , and your thoughts and what God's doing through you. And we're going to look forward to our next session. We're going to talk about, do you have a theology of music? Do you have a paradigm of music of God's kingdom? Because it's not like the music business? No, not like the worship Christian music business at all. It's different. We talk the talk, but we're going to find the power, how you could step into signs and wonders with the music of God. And that's really exciting. So check out the course online called the music of God available at www.lamarboschman .com . We look forward to seeing you in the next podcast.
